Amazonia is humility, infinite love for the territory, dedication, (un)spoiled tradition, tribal community, peace, wilderness, family, life. Amazonia is the starry sky you’ve never seen before, the frightening and at the same time true noise of nature in the morning as soon as you wake up, adrenaline, amazement, magic. Amazonia remains within you, there is always the desire to return, to discover more and more, even if it is impossible to discover it all. I was lucky enough to know the right people, so I lived it and fell madly in love with it. Amazonia remains inside you, it conquers you to the point of missing it.
My Amazonia starts in Belem, Brazil, arrives in the heart of the jungle, in Manaus, continues to Tabatinga, then changes country and moves on to Leticia, Colombia. And it is here that there is only one invisible border drawn by the Amazon river, between Colombia, Brazil and Peru. The magnificence of this immense river reflects the character of the people of these lands, people who have long ago forgotten their nationality, because here you just live; everybody lives its life without any prejudice or differences.
