INSPIRED BY THE WORLD
Life is a journey, a series of one-way tickets with no possibility of return. My journey begins in Romania, the country where I spent the first 23 years of my life, experiencing the last years of communism and the transition to democracy. During the post-revolution years I have seen and experienced all the changes that a nation undergoes after such a long period of social lethargy, following step by step the transformation of my people and trying to find MY way.
Until the first one-way trip, ROME.
My arrival was random, or so I thought when, as soon as I graduated in journalism, I decided to get to know Italy. Now I simply believe that every decision I make is part of the long journey I am making, without a destination, because the whole world is to be discovered.
Conclusion: my journey continues, I continue to enrich myself, to know, to learn. I just decided to share, to inspire, to advise, treasuring everything the world has offered and will offer me!

Beauty was not contemplated in the schools I followed in post-Communist Romania. They did not teach us aesthetics, beauty, artistic design, culture or the history of art. Fortunately, I now live in a country where art is present everywhere. I confess that taste, sensitivity, time and travel have helped me to get closer and closer to art and I am convinced that it is the only universal language. The passion that makes you enter a museum or a gallery, the curiosity to discover everything on topics related to art, the so-called ‘hunger’ for knowledge in this area are the reasons why it was born, 14 years ago, the collaboration with Gino Rossi, gallery owner, curator and collector. I have come to understand that there is more and more in the art that you will face, I have learned to consider how it has been shaped by its time, by its creator and to find a context for it in the world. For me, art means integration, inclusion, knowledge and socialization.
Thanks to art, beauty is infinite.

I don’t like “putting down roots”, but if I had to answer all in one breath, I would say that Rome is the one that comes closest to the definition of HOME and, consequently, while considering myself a citizen of the world, I have chosen Italy as my adoptive country. This is why I decided to start my sharing from here, from the traveller’s point of view, and then reach other lands, more or less distant. While travelling I have often met people for whom having visited Italy and stopped in Rome for one day seemed more than normal; a lot of tourists do not consider Florence and Naples mandatory destinations; and nobody mentions the Islands. It is obvious that a lifetime is not enough to discover a country like Italy, it would not even be enough to know Rome completely, and it is equally obvious that you should make more than one trip to this country, but if you come here for the first time, then my greatest desire would be to help you enjoy the REAL Rome, the REAL Italy.
